Pay attention to the correct year:

· ALT (1977-1984)
The early PX models to Bj.1984 still use a transmission with cranked gear spider. Likewise, the shift key is also provided with a washer between the bolt and switching cross. Here, the upper edge of the thrust block is paralell to the sealing surface of the switching notch (rotatably mounted on blocks detent arm) in the position of third gear.

· LUSSO (1984-)
The models after year. 1984 using the so-called Lusso gearbox with flat shift cross type and switching bolt without washer between bolt and switching cross. Here is about 1.5mm on the sealing surface of Schaltraste outwardly the upper edge of the thrust block (blocks rotatably mounted on the detent arm) in the position of third gear.

QUALITY

TIP
The wear of the catch can be clearly seen when the cover has been removed and will be tried in the state (without the engine running) shift gears. If the detent arm (spring-loaded) thereby significantly on its suspension has game, the catch should be changed. Jumping the aisles then load still out, the Cruciform and possibly the corresponding ratio gear should be changed.
