Carburetor size: The diaphragm is optimized to carburettor up to 28mm, up to 22HP is also always out, larger carburettors bring up to this power range hardly a performance increase and only increase consumption and deteriorate the response. Our demonstration engine with Rapido cylinder currently has 28.5HP and uses a Keihin PWK28! The BGM membrane used, even if it looks small, has an area of ??about 20% larger than a standard Malossi PX membrane.
Blow back: By closing the membrane in case of overpressure in the Eintraztrakt, the Blow back is thus greatly reduced the injecting of the unburnt mixture.
Adjustability: By reducing the blowback, the carburetor can be adjusted more easily because the recirculated mixture no longer affects the ratio at short notice.

Seals: Can be used, but we recommend a liquid sealant like eg. DirkoHT to use.
Replacement: In addition to the screwed-on carbon plates a set of GRP platelets is included. Further replacement is very cheaply available. Also the membrane itself is favorable to get or to replace by any other Minarelli membrane. The carburettor used is available at every Mikuni dealer.
Space conditions: All carburetors up to 35mm fit under the side cover! Depending on the carburetor model and the Lambretta model, a rubber band can be added to the air filter. With the following carburettors this fits eg. for a series 3: Dell'orto PHB / VHSB to 30mm, Mikuni TMX to 30mm, Mikuni TM to 35mm, Keihin PWK to 28mm, Koso PWK to 34mm.
Cooling ribs: Depending on the cylinder type, one or two cooling ribs must be milled at their end. However, the effort is very limited, with some cylinder types this is completely eliminated. The cylinder cover has to be adjusted.
Suction hole: The neck is designed to fit well on smaller cylinders. For cylinders with a larger suction hole, it makes sense to fit the nozzles thereon.
Flow: The version V3 was optimized by means of a computer program the flow.
Quality: The nozzle is manufactured in Germany by a well-established automotive supplier in the oil-bonded sand casting process and meets high quality requirements. The material is very stable and does not deform under heat.
